Our commercial journey began with our market trading adventure under the leadership of our late father, Hacı Köylü İlyas Durmazoğlu.
1971
Durmaz Bread Bakery commenced operations.
1972
We established our first shop in Düzce city center on Hasan Efendi Street, commonly known as Büyük Cami Street, with the aim of operating in the apparel sector. At the same time, our hospitality career began with Büyük Kent Hotel, followed by another venture, Küçük Kent Hotel.
1978
With the opening of our second retail store, we ended our 11-year market trading journey.
1984
Established to meet the growing demand in the furniture sector due to Düzce's increasing population and housing expansion, Durmazlar Furniture Palace has been one of the key milestones in our growth journey.
1990
Founded on a 5-acre area and expanding to 200 acres with a capacity of 500 cattle, Köylü İlyas Livestock Farm began its operations. In the same year, our commercial expansion continued with the trading of hazelnuts and agricultural products, followed by dealership ventures in home appliances and electronics.
1992
A few years later, with a major renovation planned, the purchase of the building for Durmazlar Business Center and Wedding Hall—one of Düzce's landmark venues—was completed.
1994
Durmazlar Business Center and Wedding Hall commenced operations.
1995
We began our multi-story retail experience in the ready-to-wear sector through a partnership with the IGS brand, serving Düzce with 160 different brands.
1996
We opened our third branch in retail clothing under the KİP brand, further enhancing the service we provide in men's fashion.
2006
We opened a new branch of Durmazlar Clothing in the area known as Kızılay Square in Düzce.
2010
We began providing services in the construction sector across various locations in Düzce with turnkey residential and commercial projects.
